Our national philanthropy is the Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation in which we mostly fundraise for the Robbie Page Memorial Fund. The fund was started in honor of Robbie Page who was the son of a national president. He was diagnosed with polio and passed away from the illness. The Robbie Page Memorial Fund was started to help the March of Dimes find a cure for polio. When the cure for polio was discovered, the Fund switched its efforts to raising money for play therapy for hospitalized children. Play helps children progress their physical, intellectual, and emotional developments. Unfortunately hospitalized children do not get the same interaction as other children do. The play therapy rooms offer hospitalized children a place to interact with others as well as give them a place to relieve their stress by playing through their problems. The play atriums at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and Childrens Medical Center in Dallas, Texas are our two main play atriums. As an organization, we are very proud to say that grants donated by Sigma Sigma Sigma gave the play atrium at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill the funds to start the nations first play therapy program which has made the hospital a leader in showing the importance of play therapy throughout the nation. The Robbie Page Memorial Fund have received many national awards for its distinguished support of play therapy.

The Delta Pi Chapter is very actively involved in raising money for the Robbie Page Memorial Fund. One of our biggest fundraisers is our Rock-A-Thons which we host once a month. During our Rock-A-Thons we can be found sitting in the middle of campus in rocking chairs asking people to donate spare change for the cause. We also have a program called Cans 4 Kids, where we have donated plastic bins to every other Greek organization on campus and asked them to save any aluminum cans for us so that we can recycle them and collect the money to donate to Robbie Page Memorial. We also have many exciting events throughout the year that help raise funds for the philanthropy. This year we are very excited to be hosting our first annual themed dodgeball tournament. Our theme this year will be the 80's and we are encouraging students and faculty from all different organizations on campus to form teams and participate. Some of our other events include fundraising nights at local restaurants in the area where we encourage students to come out and eat with us while raising money for a great cause.
